As you might have guessed from some of my earlier post I am an exercise junkie. I do some form every day; combat, kick-boxing, Yogalosophy, Intense Cardio..the list goes on.
As a result of all that hardcore jumping around, I can lose up to 10% of my RDA of Calcium per day, being that it's also believed to assist in weight loss (as recently reported in the British Journal of Nutrition) I think it's important to get a good fix everyday.
This smoothie is really cheap and easy to make and is best sipped from a hot pampering tub post work-out.
Vanilla & Date Smoothie

Beverage Suggestion -
Ingredients
240g or 1 Cup Fibre Yogurt/Bio-Yogurt & 4 tsp Wheatgerm
1x Ripe Banana
1 tsp Runny Honey
2x Dates, stoned & finely chopped
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
125ml or 1/2 Semi-Skimmed Milk, ice-cold
